Creator profiles

Link your socials to your wallet with an onchain memo. Self-declared, public, no backend.

What it is

A creator profile is a display name plus optional links to X, Discord, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Telegram, GitHub and a website. It is shown on your creator page, on the leaderboard and next to your submissions, so sponsors can see who they are reviewing.

Profiles are optional and never block creating a bounty, submitting or getting paid. Edit yours on the Profile page.

How it works onchain

Munera has no database. When you save, your wallet signs one transaction containing a single SPL Memo instruction (Memo program MemoSq4gqABAXKb96qnH8TysNcWxMyWCqXgDLGmfcHr, v2). Your wallet is passed to the memo instruction as a signer, so the Memo program itself verifies your signature and the record is attributable to you. The Munera program is not involved.

json
{"app":"munera","v":1,"t":"profile","name":"Gladius","socials":{"x":"munera_xyz","discord":"gladius","website":"https://example.com"}}

Memos are capped at 500 bytes by the editor. Allowed keys are x, discord, instagram, tiktok, youtube, telegram, github and website.

How profiles are read

  1. The site lists recent signatures of the wallet (getSignaturesForAddress), which include each transaction's memo text.
  2. It picks the most recent successful memo with app = munera, t = profile, v = 1.
  3. It downloads that transaction and checks that the memo instruction lists the wallet as a signer account, so nobody can attach a profile to your address by merely sending you a transaction or signing a memo of their own.
  4. Everything is validated strictly: only allowed keys, handle patterns, length limits and https:// URLs. Anything else is dropped. Values are always rendered as escaped text, never as HTML.

Results are cached in your browser for a few minutes to be kind to public RPC endpoints, so changes can take a moment to appear elsewhere. Only the latest 200 signatures of a wallet are searched; a very busy wallet may lose an old profile from view, and republishing fixes that.

Self-declared, not verified

Links are self-declared and stored publicly onchain. Munera doesn't verify that you own these accounts. Treat them as a claim, not proof.

Verification tip: also pin your wallet address in the bio of the accounts you link. Anyone can then check that both sides agree, with no extra tooling.

Privacy and permanence

  • Anything you publish is public forever. Do not include private information.
  • Updating or removing links publishes a new memo; the latest one wins. Earlier memos remain in the blockchain's history and are visible on Explorer.
  • Remove all links publishes an empty profile, which hides your links on Munera but cannot erase history.
  • Your profile is tied to your wallet address, which is already public. Linking socials connects the two publicly.

Fees

A memo transaction costs only the network fee, about 0.000005 SOL. No rent is paid and nothing is created.
